“The 2013 Convenience Food Convention and Exhibition” organized by Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology will have a grand opening at China National Convention Center (CNCC) on September 5th and 6th, 2013. Having been held for more than 10 sessions, “China’s Flour Product Convention” and “Frozen and Refrigerated Food Convention” have built a solid foundation in this industry. This year, the organizer decides to formally hold these two conventions together which exert profound influence on the industry, indicating the launch of another round of development for convenience food industry.
As the sunrise industry with the most development potential in China’s food industry, convenience food harvested a gross profit growth rate of 27.7% in 2012, surpassing the average growth rate of the food industry. At present, it is still in rapid development. Simultaneously, China’ Annual Flour Product and Frozen Food Convention has been made a festival and a platform for brand promotion by such main part of convenience food industry as instant noodles, fine dried noodles, frozen and refrigerated food, savory flavoring and seasonings as well as ancillary equipment industry. As a result, this convention has become an authoritative one with solid foundation in this industry, attracting the enthusiastic involvement of and support from many well-known enterprises in the industry all the time.
The 2013 convention will for the first time be held at CNCC with a larger capacity, aiming to adapt to the need of the industry’s rapid development and to create new developmental opportunities for another round of development of China’s convenience food by orienting the development of the great “convenience food” industry and concentrating the strength of the business community and scientific community. At the same time, the major outstanding enterprises will converge in the convention to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the convenience food industry so as to facilitate the development and promotion of the industry in the following years.
This convention will be a continuation of the content of the previous year and based on the industry needs, the authoritative reports and professional analysis will be made. The content of this convention will be divided into 6 parts: industry analysis reports; authoritative reports by experts; food security case studies; the respective communication of 5 specialized fields, including instant noodles, fine dried noodles, frozen prepared food, flavor ingredients and equipments; private session on standards and regulations; enterprises’ 2013 new products information release.
Besides, the exhibition area will be further expanded and divided into 6 sections: section for instant noodles, for fine dried noodles and flavor pasta, for frozen prepared food, for facilities and packaging materials, for oriental flavor and natural ingredients, and for industrialized traditional food. Through the 6 sections, achievements made in convenience food field can be fully displayed and the development and promotion of the industry can be pushed forward.
